Why choose Eir Piercing?
Choosing a piercing studio is a personal decision.
There are many excellent studios in Singapore, and every client values different things. Some prioritise jewellery selection. Some focus on location. Some want a particular aesthetic. Others are looking for a piercer they feel comfortable talking to.
At Eir Piercing, we’ve built the studio around a simple idea: The piercing itself is only one small part of the experience.
The consultation, the jewellery, the placement, the healing process, the follow-up support, and how you feel throughout the appointment is also a big part of the experience.
What makes Eir different?
Choosing where to be pierced is about more than jewellery. It is abut craftmanship, safety, experience and trust. These are the principles that guide everything we do:
Solid gold fine jewellery and Implant-grade titanium posts
Anatomy-led piercing and jewellery selection
Curated collections from the worlds leading fine jewellery makers
APP- aligned jewellery and hygiene standards
Sterile, single-use piercing needles
Experience with advanced anatomy
Trauma-aware and consent-led appointments
Calm, sensory-friendly approach for anxious or sensitive clients
Personal healing support and downsizing
Located in the heart of Club Street, Singapore
Of course, any studio can make a list.
What is important is how those principles show up in practice.
We are anatomy-led
One of the most common things clients hear at Eir is:
“It depends on your anatomy.”
That is not a way of avoiding the question, but often the most honest answer.
No two bodies are identical. Ear shapes vary. Noses vary. Navel anatomy varies. Genital anatomy varies. The jewellery that works beautifully for one person may not be appropriate for another.
Because of this, we don’t approach piercing as a menu service.
Every placement is assessed individually. Every jewellery choice is considered in relation to your anatomy, lifestyle, and healing goals.
Sometimes that means adjusting a plan, suggesting a different placement and every now and then it means saying no entirely.
We believe long-term comfort more than immediate gratification.
We focus on healing, not just the appointment
A piercing appointment is over in minutes.
Healing takes months.
Many of the decisions that influence long-term success happen before the needle ever touches the skin: jewellery sizing, material selection, placement angles, and realistic healing expectations.
Our goal isn’t simply to create a piercing that looks good on the day you get it, our goal is to help create a piercing that still feels comfortable and healthy years from now.
That means discussing downsizing. It means encouraging follow-up visits. It means being available when something doesn’t feel quite right.
Healing support is part of the service, not an afterthought.
We care deeply about jewellery
Jewellery is one of the things that first drew me into this industry.
Alongside my work as a piercer, I trained as a goldsmith. That experience fundamentally changed how I look at jewellery.
The materials matter.
The polish matters.
The weight matters.
The proportions matter.
How a piece sits in tissue matters.
At Eir, we focus on solid gold fine jewellery designed specifically for body piercing. We don’t view jewellery as an accessory added after the piercing. We view it as part of the piercing itself.
The right jewellery supports healing, comfort, and long-term wear.
We believe education matters
The piercing industry changes constantly.
New jewellery designs appear. Standards evolve. Techniques improve. Research expands our understanding of healing and materials.
Good piercers never stop learning.
Over the years I’ve attended conferences, pursued additional training, worked internationally, and learned from some incredibly skilled professionals within the industry.
I don’t believe expertise is something you achieve once, I believe it’s something you maintain.
That commitment to learning influences every aspect of how Eir operates.
We understand that people arrive with different needs
Not every client walks through the door feeling excited and confident.
Some arrive anxious.
Some are sensory-sensitive.
Some have had negative experiences elsewhere.
Some need very little.
Our approach is built around meeting people where they are.
You are allowed to ask questions.
You are allowed to be nervous.
You are allowed to need breaks.
You are allowed to change your mind.
A good piercing experience should never require you to push past your boundaries.
We are comfortable saying no
This may sound strange as a reason to choose a studio.
But it’s one of the things I’m proudest of.
Not because I enjoy disappointing people.
Because sometimes no is the safest answer.
No when anatomy isn’t suitable.
No when jewellery isn’t appropriate.
No when too many piercings are planned at once.
No when timing isn’t right.
A professional piercer’s responsibility is not to agree to everything.
It’s to make decisions that support the best possible long-term outcome.
We built Eir intentionally
Eir wasn’t created by accident.
The name comes from Norse mythology, where Eir is the goddess of healing.
That philosophy influences everything we do.
We wanted to create a studio that felt calm rather than intimidating.
Professional without feeling clinical.
Luxurious without feeling exclusive.
A space where people could ask questions, take their time, and make informed decisions.
The studio reflects my Scandinavian roots, my background in goldsmithing, and over a decade of professional piercing experience.
Every choice, from the jewellery we stock to the way appointments are conducted, is rooted in the same idea:
People deserve thoughtful, anatomy-led, healing-focused piercing.

The Eir Difference
At the end of the day, the best piercing studio isn’t necessarily the biggest, the busiest, or the most visible.
It’s the one that makes you feel informed, respected, and cared for.
Our job isn’t just to place jewellery.
It’s to help you make decisions that work for your body, your goals, and your long-term comfort.
If that sounds like the kind of piercing experience you’re looking for, we would be honoured to welcome you to Eir.
